Re: Want to convert from Automatic to Manual

Hey, it's your car... My $0.02 is :wack:. A lot of money, time and frustration with little to no benefit. If it is for "the driving experience" or "look cool factor" well... dumb reason IMHO. If...

Re: Long Life synthetic Oil change

What I think is irrelevant at the moment. You are the one who made the claim that old oil filters perform better than new filters and as such, it is better to not change them as frequently. I asked...

Re: *****2013 Accord PICS @ in our shop*****

Not crazy about the upper portion of the...

Take your old battery to a battery shop where they can put a load on it. They can tell you if it is the battery that failed or if you are having other issues with the charging system. They won't be...

Re: Keep the 5W-20 oil, or go thicker to 10W-30?

I see no issues with running 0w20 year round.

Knowing that our heads are aluminium and aluminium is soft. I want the added protection on the hot side that the 5w30 gives me. It may cost me a...

Re: Long Life synthetic Oil change

Scrap the better filtration idea. Just change your filter and top off with fresh oil. Unless that's what you meant by better filtration.

Using regular oil, I change my oil every 8,000 to 9,000...

Re: Keep the 5W-20 oil, or go thicker to 10W-30?

I was going to write a very lengthy post on the subject as I worked with engine oil for many years.

Well, as I get older, I also get lazy...

I'm going to provide a link to Wikipedia as it goes...
