Right. I ask because I do move this car around once a day or so, from drive way to the street parking. I read somewhere that in winter, I would have to warm up the car first before I start moving it....

I'll look it up. At this point, whatever I do to it will not make any differences. It's dying anyways. Just a matter of time now before it seizes.

Yes. You are correct. The bearing went out of shape and pinched to the sides of the journal cap walls by literally oozing out. Which means, metal became soft due to excess heat. Those bearings are...

Yes. There's no clicking noise like low battery or anything. It just won't spin like it's stuck. If I move the car a little with gear on, it spins again to crank the car. The funny thing is, it spins...

Try tightening a bit more to increase the tension on AC belt. Make sure it's not sagging when you push the belt down.

Like it won't crank unless I connect it directly or if I put in gear and push the car to spin the engine just a little. Then it cranks.

Your A/C belt is not tight enough. Did you tight it to specs or just turn the bolt and said it's good enough?

Any CEL? If no CEL then it's the gauge is bad. You need to replace the whole speedometer. You have to match the mileage or DMV will not like it at all.

It's on the side wall. Right below the lock. It's a little black bump. If you push it in while the door is open, you can see the light goes off.
