So I'm in the process of building my engine. It's a B18A1 thats been sleeved out to 84mm by Benson. Stock crankshaft has been polished and I'm running ACL race bearings.Its going to be a DD as well...

I'm interested in doing and ls/vtec build and turbocharging it. What should I be doing to the internal while it's still sitting? Would it be easier to put an obd2 head on and obd0 bottom end?

^^^this is awesome. thanks so much for the helpful info. i dont have to go through emissions testing where i live. But i also dont want the CEL on all the time. Is this going to be an issue?

my research says obd0 ended in 91 but they still put b18a1 in there till 93. so there is a chance at it being either. i just wanted to know if there is a sure fire way to find out

maybe im not understanding correctly but wouldnt it be easier to run the b series(obd0) harness and have a conversion harness to a obd1 ecu. the reason behind a obd1 ecu is there are less sensors to...
