i think it is because off this.
changing timing belt on engine cold.
marks on cams and crankgear spot on.
and now marks on crankpulley,they are for setting ignition timing...

o i forgot the iacv,when the engine has not been running for long they can get stuck.
gently tapping with a tool and it may come loose.

so you have come a long way.jumping the service connector to set idle never heard of this.when setting ignition yes.
now for the fitv thats a mechanical device and it really needs the heat from...

need more info,did you swap the engine? or the parts that you mentioned.
a code deffo means something is not wright.
did you touch the tps sensor,should reed 0,5 volt in idle and 4,5 at wot.
now...

do you mean the crankpulley?
the white is tdc rougly,the red mark is for timing ignition.

this question comes up on various forums.
i've got the same problem.
swapped a low milage jdm b18c gsr.
replaced belt waterpump tensionpulley and spring,all oem.
now the marks...
