Any suggestions anybody?I did a wire tuck on the headlights in the front...it has a jdm front clip on it...fog lights hooked up....turns on before the headlights....I reduced a lot of wires on both...

So you can burn up a coil that easily? I must've done the same thing...cause my teg wont start either. ...and if it does it only sputtered with the throttle wide open...soon as I let off it dies...

It was weird how the only way it would start is with the gas pedal to the floor....then it would only sputter gradually picking up rpms till I let off the pedal...then it died....and wouldn't start...

Thats sounds like a good trick to testing for spark...ill try that...gotta make a trip to the parts store....sounds like I have more of a spark issue than anything. ...so would I be able to build...

I would try my old dizzy but it was off a 97 obd2 teg...thanks for the link...ill check the dizzy, or swap it out with a known working one...this just baffles me cause before the bad head gasket it...

The dummy that resurfaced the head number stamped the mating surface .004 by the number 1 cylinder....blew right there..doh!....new head gasket and resurface is coming....copper sce or cometic? Need...

Does anyone have a reasonable explanation? Could I do a leak down test on the motor?to see if its just the headgasket or something more complicated?.....or would that give at least a general idea.....

And I checked the compression....#4 was at 295psi, #3 was at 250psi, #2 was at 245psi, and #1 was at 215psi....and it was wierd when I did the compression check the radiator would puff out smoke when...

How about the 8 pin rectangular plug?what's that for? Do I NEED it? They had it loomed up next to the radiator fan plug ... The wiring was really a mess on this car......lots of butt connectors......

There's also an 8 pin rectangle shaped plug.....with 7 wires going to it....is that necessary? I wanna get rid of that too if possible..... plus the two relays....they have orange plugs......are for...

OK let's see,I had to jump power to the windows to roll them up....luckily got the windows up before it started raining.....but anyways...I found the relay,swapped it with one out of a 97 civic ex...

Thanks for the good advice....I've only had it boosted for about about 2 months,and I change my oil religiously...never had any shavings...thank god.I have a morosso oil pan with a magnetic drain...
