Re: Hesitation when wet

I've got a random missfire too. Happens only below the 2500 RPM Vtec engagement. Car bogs and jerks as it misfires. Can't figure out what's wrong.

Re: front upper control arm bushing accord 97 replacement question

I don't believe they fit. That said fuck eBay, the no name crap on there is more expensive than name brand premium heavy duty stuff on rockauto.com.

Re: Head Gasket and Bolts Re-usable after short time?

Technically if the head bolts haven't stretched beyond spec they are reusable. Typically they don't stretch beyond spec but they do weaken and so it's a roll of the dice whether or not they'll hold...

Re: how many miles does your accord have on it?

'97 Ex about to turn 157. Aside from a bunch of exhaust leaks just gonna need a new clutch in the next year or two. Getting 29mpg in the middle of MN winter, life is good.

Re: IAT Sensor Location

Putting a catch can on will help the PCV issue, it'll take the vapor out of it and cool down the charge going through it.

I thought all the IAT's were on the back on the manifolds in either...

Re: Not impressed with Honda engineering

So the car doesn't go together like legos. Stop bitching and learn how to turn a wrench.

ABS question

Kind of a hard subject to search, or I'm just retarded. Anyway, pulled my ABS code and it's giving me code 48, left rear wheel sensor. I've looked at both rear sensors and they both look fine. I'm...

Re: Honda Accord ABS

Put a paper clip in the OBDI plug and read the flashes, match it up to a code sheet. My ABS light is on too, all four lock up. All sensors look good too so I have to read my codes too and see what's...

Re: short throw shifter

Is JTC not making these shifters anymore? I looked all over their site and couldn't find one. I don't care if I have to drop 150$, I want the SS for this car. The row boat is driving me nuts.

Re: Clock resets itself everytime 95 civic si is started

Re: Help Compression with different oil?

Even jumping to 5w 40 won't do that much for you as far as performance. Daily driving it might help with blow by a little bit because there isn't a whole lot of cylinder pressure at the low loads but...
