thanks for the input... just ordered my obd2 - obd1 jumper... already have a socketed p28 ecu just wasnt sure if it would work or not!

hey everyone.. workin on my turbo car.. recently purchaced a
1997 civic hx 1.6 d16y7 bottom end with a y8 head. with v-tech.
just wondering what ecu i can run...

try to check if your getting fuel past your regulator (returning to your fuel tank) it could be clogged and not letting fuel back, therfore sending too much into your motor.. floding it

check your fuel pressure regulator... ive had my y8 do that... not too that extent, i also chenged my filter. make sure your motors gettin air and all your vaccume lines are hooked up right...

i have replaced it and calibrated it... its right where it should be.. wide open, and closed.. im not too sure what else it could be.
this car is my baby and i really dont want to give up.

the ckp sensor is iside of the distributor, ive replaced that with a new one.
replaced tps along with o2 sensor, coolant temp, ecu, map,
and im still throwing the codes. car starts fine, just...

thats the only thing i can come up with as of right now... thoes are the only codes im getting.. and i have checked the voltage to and from the sensors distributer and the ecu. everything checks out...

the codes that im throwing are 4- ckp (in the distributer) and 7- tps..
i have replaced both and im still in limp mode?
its gotta be something in my wiring im assuming its pretty worn out.

its most likely your thrmostat.. change it and go from there, no use in spending money you dont have too.
