Re: Can I install head studs without removing the head?

Some one else tried to replace the studs without replacing the head gasket and it didn't work at all. He had leaks everywhere. If you replace them just get a new head gasket. They aren't that...

Yeah it would be nice to know what combination provides the most protection for turbo stress while making the most comfort for daily driving. Obviously it would not be the the best for either...

Re: Need some advice on motor mounts issue

Yeah that's what I have been doing. I just hate doing it because it's a pain for one and the heat right now is brutal so shutting it off about kills you.

Re: Bogging and what seems like no power in newly built motor

Greenville sc. I was going to go with 81.5 but the short block I got was a little pitted so I had to go to 82mm. I cant see .5mm having that huge of a difference

Re: Bogging and what seems like no power in newly built motor

And yes 82mm. Goal is 300 whp. Stock sleeves and 81.5 mm can go up to high 500's without needing sleeves so I figure I am safe with my relatively "low" goal.

Re: Where to find OEM rear bumper filler grills

could be wrong but the little grills you are referring to are on 2000 and up bumpers. They are rare and hard to come by. Junk yards probably would never see them.

Re: Some questions about window molding/trim

I got all that stuff at a pick and pull for $3.00. Good stuff to! You could also use a razor blade and cut all the rubber plastic stuff off and paint them. Good cheap fixes.

Re: What y'all think?

its my understanding that 300 is about the max you want to go on stock internals safely... I went ahead and put forged pistons and rods in to be extra sure it was not going to blow up right away

Re: go-autorworks aluminum radiator w/slimline fan

Well I guess mostly I am asking if it is a good quality piece. I heard people talking that the good brands are koyo and fluidyne. Haven't heard anything and go autoworks radiators. Should I get it?
