I've drove the CRV over 1k miles since the oil change now and the oil and coolant levels both seem fine (not noticing any significant consumption). Not sure which one is causing the smoke but it is...

I got a new relay from autozone and tried switching it out with no changes. Took a look at my ac button switch, never had the light coming on. I look it apart to inspect it but didn't see anything...

I'm glad that I had some other viewpoints on the situation.

After analyzing a litte further I think a 94-01 GSR 5th makes sense. I bought one on eBay for $73 so I'm gonna try it out.

Even just switching to the 94-01 GSR 5th seems like it would make quite a bit of difference.

Update: I got a hold of synchrotech and they confirmed that a 5th gear from a hydro trans would work in my YS1.

All i really need to know now is, will 94-01 LS 5th gears work in my 92-93 YS1 Cable Trans or do I have to find 90-93 LS 5th gears?

Yes, I am lining up the pin in the grove on the thermostat and gasket is seating in properly.

You can watch it drip if you take a flashlight and look right below the thermostat housing.
