For future viewers of this thread it appears my issue is now solved. I have yet to test the old fuel pump on a battery to see if it sounds bad or is temperamental but so far it has been two weeks...

Well after a six pack and half a pack of smokes I got the tank out and swapped out the fuel pump. Got it back together and it started, ran and completed a test drive w/o issue. So who knows. Maybe...

Well a new $23 main relay is in my car and it still doesn't run. I read in my manual I can check for Power to the fuel pump at a connector that is under the spare tire connector. I will try that next...

Lights have come on without issue every time I've tried to start car.

So far the problem has only occurred when the car is stone cold. I'm to scared to drive it anywhere as it is.

From what I have read around other forums is if the compressor does not cycle off it may be that cabin temp has not reached desired temp setting. I'm thinking I'll drive it around this coming week...
