I have all week off next week so I plan to take it off again. The intake gasket is two peices one is metalic and the other black which way does it go on?

I just did that last week because I had a insufficient flow code for the egr. Now I have code 1491. I suppose I will take it apart again next week.

Figured out my problem I bent 3 of my valves. I got those fixed and got the car running great now.

The timing belt broke in the process of taking the crank pulley bolt out. not sure if the crank spun 180 off on me. But I can't get any compression in cylinder 1 to adjust the valves. Note: Installed...

I've got everything done except for the timing belt. I can not get the crank pulley bolt loose. I have destroyed so many of my tools and nothing seems to work.

Yeah for sure I already have the head at the shop and the timing belt kit came with a water pump. Just waiting for my cam now.

Ordered the Helm's manual along with full stainless steel exhaust, Crower cam, Megan Racing coilovers, timing belt kit, head gasket kit, and some other things for my system. Should be pretty sweet...

Yeah I know the basics. I am use to working on older cars, got this car so I could learn more about ECU and such things. I have a Chilton manual for it is the Helm's better?

It is a geographical thing we don't have any tuner speed shops here mostly v-8 and diesel shops. I've been looking for K series engines locally so far no luck mostly just B series.

Yeah I understand there isn't much for the D17. I went to several place and they were all around $1400 for the timing belt and head gasket. Just wanted an easier out than that.

I'm not sure still makes the noise and the struts were put on about five months ago come to find out so there is no warranty. When I was pulling off the tire one of the wheel studs snapped off...

I got the invoice from the seller and it says both front struts were replaced along with the upper strut mount plates.

Not a cork from a wine bottle but from a valve cover gasket. I've never seen anyone do this before. Most cars are just metal to metal. Do Honda's have a gasket for the struts?

Well I'm moving the battery to the back and I wanted to know if one side weighed less than the other. If one side did weigh less that would be the side I would put it one.
