I would jack the car up one side at a time to also check bearings, ball joints and tierod ends etc...Once it is lifted grab tire on both sides and try to move it left and right to feel if anything is...

If you can take it for a drive, have a body shop look at it. Also know they don't hold as much book value salvaged, but if you plan on keeping it for a long time, that won't even matter. Good luck

Ask the estimator to drive 1.5 miles to your place and look at it. Then if you're gonna have it fixed they can probably tow it.

You may try using the foam from another kind of seat that you like. Then the foam will match on both sides, instead of trying to sculpt foam by hand.

If you still have problems after swapping front calipers.....make sure the rear is working as well. If the rear isn't doing it's job then the front is working too hard.

It usually is the cat....sometimes the sensors both follow right after....you should be fine for the trip. On my civic I use for an every day driver, I installed a high flow cat...which is less...
