hey i have no cels. i just wanted to talk with you seeing as how you seem to be on most. in reference to the d15b7 post about rpms not going past 3k and the car stalling

OK i have a 93 civic lx d15b7 5 spd. i can start the car up fine. it will idle fine and get to normal running temp.

Problem.. When i rev the engine up it hits 3k rpms sometimes 3.5k and then...

cars rpms began to fluctuate and when i gave the car gas it stalled out. it would start up and idle fine but when i tried to accelerate it began...

i bought my 93 civic lx 5spd and apparrently it has the wrong ecu in it.

im am suppose to have a po6 model and have a p28 currently...

the question is:

does it matter what the serial code...

no other codes. last real tune up approx 6 months ago. 4k miles on oil now.

it starts up. runs but once i get up to 3-4k rpm neighborhood it fluctuates and bounces then drops and stalls

ah.. sorry engine is a lil dirty.. it was covered by grease..

My ecu has a bar code/sticker on it this is the numbers i pulled off it.

i was researching... some said to check my oil.. i need to change it. its pretty gone. about 4k miles on it. could that be the culprit?

before i cleaned the iacv and fitv the car would not stay on or idle. after i cleaned them my car now idles fine... but once i start driving and accelerate its ok then when i go to sustain a speed it...

well when i bought the car the cel was on. i recently changed spark plugs. fuel pump fuel filter. ignition coil, and ignition module. wires were back about 7-8 months ago. as well as distributor...

Yes. Cel is on. Goes off for 2 secs then comes on and stays on. And i didnt mean to make 2 posts. Idk how it happened.
