id change the thermostat, check the coolant hoses in the bay, and make sure the radiator fan is running fast enough or at all. Could also be a bad switch that doesn't cut the radiator on. Check

Ebay isnt so bad as they say... you just gotta know what you are looking for and be AWARE of fake and cheap quality items. if the price is too nice, most likely the item inst quite right.

then its not the sensor, mine was doing that at times, it could be something relating to your head. try doing a compression test and see what the results say
