I am trying to complete a set for sale with a set of Vitaras I have ,so I can help someone out if they are doing a budget build.

I'm trying to keep the cost for the single rod low (under $50)...

It looks like I have a OBD2 connector but the Dist. body is a TD42U which as I understand is an OBD1.

Does the TD42U come in OBD1 and OBD2 versions or do I have a distributor that someone...

Good plan.

Since you will probably have to trailer the car around suggest that you check around your area for recomendations on a few body shops. Then hit them all. Don't mention the estimates...

STOP!!!

Have you talked to the body shop that you are planning on taking your car to ("after" you cut out the rad. support) to pull your frame???

I suggest you do that BEFORE you do any more...

Question: since 220-225 compression seems to be pretty good to me, how much "better" can it get? What is optimum compression on these engines?

So again, Why would you change the rings? what are you gaining or correcting?

The rings currently in the motor are working now.

In this case you only have 3K miles on the build (don't know how...
