battery/alternator..in my case my ECU was burned for some reason..took me 4 days to noticed it..

the only question i can answer is number 3. you can use either a 99-00 ex harness or 99-00 si harness..because i've just got done with this swap last week..

im pretty sure the lx comes with a y7 motor and if you put a y8 motor your gonna have to extend some wires and need a vtech wire..

you can use your y7 wire harness u just need to extend some wires or maybe even replace some, not really sure..

no my ek didn't come with a b16b it came with a d16y7 then it had a y8 in it now b18c =) im going to work on it today and ill let you guys know if it starts right now..but im hoping tho =)

oh sweet..thanks!..the big plug dizzy has more wires then the small plug dizzy right? so that means that im gonna have to leave some of the wire from the big plug dizzy free correct?

idk where to look on that website been on it like 5x's already hahaha but wouldn't it be easier for me to get a em1 obd2b harness? or is it just a waste of my time and still have to cut and splice...

i just found that out that was my problem..my mistake was to try to but the OBD2A engine harness into a OBD2B car..i need a OBD2B EM1 engine harness, ex engine harness wont work do to different...

i have both harness..the one on the b18c is the obd2a..tried the obd2b harness but it doesn't fit my b18c dizzy..the b18c is a 98 jdm gsr motor..

so i dont need to change out my cabin harness just need to change the engine harness to an OBD2B ex or si harness..so i need a new altenator then correct? and would the connection to the B18c dizzy...

it came off a B16A engine so im assuming its a B16 engine harness OBD2A..

it is a 99 civic dx hatchback USDM style LOL not right hand drive nor it use to have a dohc motor in it..

note: it is NOT a ek9 or a right hand drive car..if it was everything would plug and play easily..its a 99 civic dx hatchback..sorry for the confusion

sorry b16a harness that came off the b16a motor from a 98 coupe thats hooked up to a b18c thats in the 99 civic hatchback.
