Re: motor sped up on it's own

My car used to do this every now and then, but not as high RPM. Used to be 3k max. The problem seems to have fixed itself though after I reset the computer. (Hasn't done it for 2 weeks now)

Re: ► Official EM2/ES1/ES2 Picture Thread (1.1)

Just washed my car, first nice day we have had here in awhile to wash my car by hand. I guess it fits into the EM2/ES1/ES2 category somehow? Haha.

Re: Lift Kit for 2001 Civic DX?

You'd be better off getting a 2wd Ranger or something of that sort

Re: Manual Transmission Fluid Change

I use Honda MTF and it works fine, I just change it somewhat often. My shifts are quite smooth

Re: Rear disc w/4 lug???

Yeah the Acura EL has rear disc, shouldn't be too hard to find a parts car. Several of them in the junkyards near here (Newfoundland).

Re: How to protect your aluminum rims during winter?

Is there any way to remove oxidation once it has started on aluminum rims? I just bought my car and the stock rims are in pretty rough shape around the centre caps.
