Check the clearance between the booster push-rod and master cylinder piston. Adjust if its too tight, about 1 mm. . I Forgot the exact specs, kindly do a little search.

The timing marks are way different than the usual usdm stuff.
The thing is, I alligned the tdc marks before removing...

I am having a code 16 for the linear solenoid.
D mode doesnt shift to lower gears.

The old and new transmission that I have doesn't have a linear solenoid.
All I found were two lock-up solenoids and two shift solenoids. Two shaft sensors, vss and gear position switch. ...

Got a FSM and tester.
Black connector goes to B6 & B17 on the ecu. Linear solenoid.
But the wires on the solenoid for the tranny have different color and connector. I just spliced the wires...

Both connectors have two wires. Both have red wire with white stripe and a white wire.The connectors wouldn't reach any other port to connect to. Ill look deeper once the engine is out of the car.

Yes, short the terminals for the fan switch.
If the fan turns on, the electrical circuit is fine.
Bleed the system of air. Trapped bubbles prevents the thermostat and/or thermoswitch to work...

Im asking you to run a wire so you can eliminate the possibility of a faulty ground. Or do as RonJ said and measure resistance. Sanding or good looking grounds...

Use your jumper cables.1 wire only
Connect one end of the cable to negative battery post.
Connect the other end to the starter housing.Fire it up.
If the starter works,search for the ground fault...

When the starter wont engage, do you hear the solenoid clicking?
