Sounds like they got paint in the connecting clip. Clean up that connection and it should help/fix it. Why was the clip painted over anyway?

Depends, have the manuals your dad has been driving for 25 years all been big domestics? Domestic clutches are much more forgiving than imports. Import clutches take much more finesse to master....

Turbos are anything but "bolt on". They are an involved build that even with the most economical of routes will still cost at least $1200-$1500.

Boost is your only option. Stock z6/y8s can handle up to 200hp if they've been taken care of. More power will require bottom end building. The y8 block is generally considered stronger than the z6...

You don't NEED to, but it's easier than swapping the hub and caliper assemblies. And often times yards or other people are going to charge the same price for the whole assembly or just the necessary...

Well if it's coming from the area of the gas tank (underneath the passenger bin) then yeah it probably is the fuel pump. Definitely not a roadside repair as you need to rip the bins out to get to it....

Pretty much any EG chassis will swap directly. The Civic EX is going to be your most compatible vehicle... depending on whether you have rear disc or rear drum.

The washer bottle goes inside the bumper cover on the drivers side. You should see a hole near the drivers headlight where the fill spout pokes through. Down in there might be where the harness is......
