We had a heater hose blow today. I got it to a nearby shop so they could test the block.. The liquid turned green/yellow, so the head gasket is bad.

Picked the car up yesterday, was able to get it...

Thanks, good info here. I changed the coolant with a 50/50 mix last winter, but it was NOT Honda brand. Since she only added less than 1/4 of a quart of water and no signs of coolant loss, I'm hoping...

My wife's 2000 Civic LX overheated the last 100+ degree day we had here 10 days ago. She noted going up a steep hill with the A/C on and rough idling and shaking. She pulled over and let it cool...

4-5 hours a wheel, wow! Even the link you posted suggested doing without clear coat, but rather just take care of the wheels. Are you supposed to sand in between the spokes, or just the wheel face?

Im about to do this to a 2000 Civic LX. Just want to make I wont hurt anything.. mainly the hub from grinding it. Thanks in advance. Good write up!
