yep, it's fixed. all that for a f--king PCV valve that took 30 seconds to change

(one of the front struts/springs is all fubar, so I might as well lower it)...

I did clean the port with TB cleaner, cleaned some of the carbon out of the inside of the TB too - didn't help one bit.

what about the fuel pressure regulator? when I unplugged the vacuum line from the intake manifold the EXACT same idle fluctuation occurred but worse than normal. unrelated?

I bought 5 feet of vacuum line yesterday, I'm going to replace all the vacuum lines I can find, but I need pointers in case there's anything hidden or not obvious.

I don't know where to check, but it seems like I have a vacuum leak somewhere, but I can't hear anything and don't really know where to check.

This CRV just can't seem to run right for me for very long. The idle has been messed up for a while now - when I had it in the shop for the burnt valve they told me the idle air control...

I hate drums purely for the increased difficulty to service. That and the look.
In this day and age, there is no reason for a passenger vehicle to have drum brakes.

I bought my V specifically because it was cheap AWD.

I've never driven a FWD V, but I can tell you that in the snow, the AWD kicks in all the time.

Maybe it's my driving style, but I'm glad to...

all cars have this function. it's called steering lock. and when the wheel is locked and turned all the way against the lock, you can't turn the ignition without turning the wheel away...
