And to add to this the coolant does not have to mix with the oil for it to be a head gasket issue as it could just be that the gasket can be damaged in the piston quench area causing combustion...

I had one in my 4dr eg it was hella fast but water got sucked in the intake and messed up my rod bearing. It would just take off and rip first and all of second on the f22 trans with long gears...

Better off doing a f2b less shit to fab imo but i like my high compression f22 with its buddy M2L5 (the tranny lol).

You should just look for a smooth vtec crossover b16's like higher than 5k rpms vtec engagement so start from there plus you have S2S2 tuner cams so take it to a dyno and check her out.

there is also a guy with a f23a1 block k20 pistons and a f22a6 head making 194 whp 162 wtq so single is also good. Mind you this has a reground cam but before the cam he made 180 whp and 150ish wtq...

f22 and h22 share the same oil pan for the 92-97 h22 after that the 98 plus h22a4 have bigger main bearings so i don't know if the pan fits those.
