New to accords but I just got a 02 with a bad auto trans for $400

What all years of accords can I use the trans from to replace and, from the looks of local scrap yards it might be cheaper to swap...

Attach the volt meter to the +/- wires and see what voltage you are getting at the plug.
make sure your getting 12v

What size resistor is needed to drop the current to 3.3? Online calc said 470ohms but that sounds awful high

does it still do this if the car is warm? (letting it idle for a little while) ive seen temp sensors be bad and cause the engine to stall out if you touch the gas before it gets warm.

:thud:so im helpin out a guy on facebook (lol) he just got a DX hatch with a D15B2 block, but it obviously has a Vtec head and mpfi swap, after checking the car has a 96+ ex ecu and NO conversion...

alot easier to diagnose if i could hear it, never seen the lack of adjustment keep a car from running unless the valve breaks. any record of previous owner changing the chain/tensioner?

it would throw the check engine light if it was a sensor, also ive never had a cam sensor go bad on a CRV but i have with other cars and they didnt start at all. though i have seen a K20 jump cam...

valves typically sound more like a tick. did it make the noise before it started stalling?

sounds like a short somewhere. ill have to find a wire diagram and see where it could be but id guess it has somthing to with PGMFI, have you done anything recently to the car?

title pretty much says it, my brother is parting his dc5 and i swapped the seats into my 94 LS. my belt is pretty tore and im curious if the rsx belts will fit? i know ill have to use the buckles but...

under the glove box you can jump the connector and read the code (like a CEL but ABS insted) most of the DC4 tegs abs motor goes bad which is NOT cheap.
