Re: f20b in a 98 accord, manual questions.

For $499 is that the motor alone or with the transmission included? I'd advise against keeping the auto transmission since 6th gen Accords have known a/t problems.
Last time I checked an f20b with a...

Re: Rare Integra Personal Box

What's the point of that?? You can hardly even fit anything in there anyways. Looks better all black.

Re: Cam Seal or Worse???

Wipe off as much oil as you can, get the car warm and drive around the block a few times. Then check again to see if you can pinpoint the leak.

From that picture it looks like it's just oil that...

Re: Help my transmission reach 400,000 miles please!

Wow impressive miles especially since those transmissions have a terrible reputation.
Not using Honda trans fluid is a big no no so what you should do is buy about 10 qts of the Honda ATF.
Drain...

Re: Engine bay before & after - 2011 -> 2012

Not really digging the blue in the NA pictures but damn is that clean!
Did you do a mild wire tuck or something?
What mods did you have done to it to reach 190 at the wheels?
I like how the...

Re: cold air intakes for '92 accord

Congrats on the purchase. They always make the top end sound really nice.
The eBay intakes usually use cheap filters so when yours starts to get dirty you should swap it for an AEM or K&N filter....

Re: Faulty Shift Control System

So it's most likely the shift lock solenoid? I pulled up the plastic trim pieces around the shifter and took a quick look at it and the stuff I'm seeing on google images when I search that part...

Re: Faulty Shift Control System

Got the trans from California and I'm in Michigan so towing it to them won't work.
He said it's the thing under the console so I'm guess it would be the shift lock solenoid but I can move the gear...

Faulty Shift Control System

I have another problem with the transmission in my 2002 V6. I replaced the transmission in the summer and the other day I was coming home from work and had some problems. It was wet and I lost...

Re: cold air intakes for '92 accord

You won't notice a difference between say an AEM intake and a non name brand intake. A lot of people get intakes from ebay and throw a nice K&N or AEM filter on it since the ebay filters suck.

I...

Re: 99 v6 Magna Flow Catalytic Converter

Drive it for a while with the SRI before you do anything to the exhaust. On my 02 v6 it made it sound a little more aggressive, you'll like it. You can hear a slight whistle sound at idle and real...

Re: cold air intakes for '92 accord

When I was looking for short ram it was between the K&N and the AEM. Went with the AEM because it has the dryflow filter so you don't have to oil it when you clean it like the K&N, just gotta rinse...

Re: honda fit ev

Currently looking to buy a Fit but I think I'll stick with the sport.
75 mile range sounds pretty weak. Looks to me like a strictly grocery grabber or city car.

Re: HID KIT 6K OR 30K? H4 Fitment

The higher the Kelvin the more blue it is, and the less usable light it has. Blue is also harder on the eyes than a more white light.

Check out this site a little they have pretty low prices....

Re: Looking for a quality H.I.D. kit

My DDM's came in about a week ago and so far I haven't had any problems and they look great.
Only paid $40 plus shipping for 6000k 35w slim ballast.
If they don't last long it's only $40 compared...

Re: Friendly warning about "Goof Off"

Not really paint friendly either. Took off my rear badges and used it to get the remaining glue off. It worked a little but it also messed up the paint a little like a little scratches and blemishes.

Re: Centre High Mount Stop Lamp (CHMSL) relocation

Bought my car with 5% tint on the back without a cut out for the third brake light. It's perfectly visible when you hit the brakes and I haven't had any trouble from the police.
