Update, I was able to reset the SRS light but the CC still doesn't work. I replaced the brake pedal switch with a rubber stopper so it's tall enough. Can't figure out why else the cruise control...

It's an LX, I have not not pulled the code so no idea if it's driver or passenger.

My cruise control doesn't work and my SRS light is on. I see the diagram up top showing the cable reel. I'm assuming that is located behind the steering wheel?

How could this go bad and...

Do Civics have them? I have a 1997 LX 5 speed. I do not have a CEL on but the idle seems to be off.

With the A/C on, the car idles normally around 900-1000 RPM's. However sometimes it will...

Thanks for the help. For $22 it's worth a shot to try. Sounds like you guys are pretty sure that's the problem though.

Bought another one thinking this may be the reason my a/c only works on setting 4 but it turns out that it's perfectly fine. Need to sell bc it's just sitting around. $40 shipped...

My HVAC only works on setting 4 for heat and a/c. I purchased new controls and just hooked them up but that did not solve the problem. What else could be causing this?

God, that was such a bitch to work on. I rigged the shlt out of it with 3 zip ties. Let's see how long this holds up.

It seems very difficult to try and even get up in there. I have a stopper that I use that fits perfect it's just a matter of getting up in there.

Definetely not the battery, but I did just have to replace the plastic piece for my brakes so that may it.

There is something wrong with my HVAC so it's either all or nothing. That's mainly why I've noticed this stuff bc I don't turn my a/c off so it's always on 4.
