The iacv was not very dirty at all my only other thought could be...im running the map sensor from the y7 and the purge valve from the y7 any way this could be affecting it

Would purple power industrial cleaner be too strong to clean it? And i had my buddy set the idle speed

Had it timed my buddy runs a shop we checked the timing its all good now when we unplugged the iacv it stayed running he said its supposed to shut off he said its no functioning properly so time for...

I havent cleaned the iacv but the throttle body was clean i took it off to inspect in...what do i clean the iacv with? And yes its a p28 and i got the adjustable cam gear cuz i read all over the...

Okay i have a 97 ek hatch with a y7 block and z6 head...since the swap i have been having tons of issues with the performance of the engine. I have it timed at tdc head and block with adjustable cam...

yeah you cant buff or polish anything until the paint has cured...it dries in no time but the cure time is a little longer

i have the same problem in my 97(its a sohc tho) i seem to think its a fuel issue...check your fuel filter...mine is dirty, just havent replaced it yet
