Re: 2011 Honda Pilot - premature tire wear

We have not had any recall notices or warranty advisories on that specific tire......Goodyear has a 60,000 mile warranty on the tire for reference, so there should be some recourse if you can provide...

Re: Need Tire Help- Hankook/Kumho

While the ECSTA 4x and the Ventus V2 are pretty similar, I felt the V2 was just a little more comfortable on bad roads........

Re: Sparco Rims on my 2000 EX?

205/40R17 may rub a little on that wheel, especially if lowered. Unfortunately we don't have an alternate (narrower) size I can recommend that still carries enough load to work, so if you want to...

Re: wheel size question

Yep, should not have to roll fenders or do any work with tire size mentioned and ET35 unless lowered quite a bit

Re: Tire suggestion for turbo Accord.

You can consider Hankook Ventus S1 noble 2 (http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=Hankook&tireModel=Ventus+S1+noble2&affiliate=FA3).... in your price range there won't be a dramatic change...

Re: Rim size for 2014 Civic Si sedan?

I don't have the specs for the OE wheel (they may be in your owner's manual) but we'd normally go no wider than a 8" wide wheel with an offset between 40mm and 45mm. A 9" wide wheel with ET35 is...

Re: 04 civic si best rim size for track

If you're going to use 205/55 or 215/55R16, a 16x7 wheel would be ideal. There is a great selection of high performance tires in both sizes (mostly in 205). Arguably, moving to a 17x7.5 or 17x8"...

Re: Fitment questions and tire reccomendations for 89 civic with 14x7 borbet

We'd recommend 195/55R14 if you can find any (we don't stock that size any longer), as that is closest to the OE tire size's overall diameter of approximately 23". The 185/70R14 averages 24.2" in...

Re: Hoosier D.O.T. Radial?

The 225/50R16 can fit any wheel between 7.00" and 9.00" wide. With the BBK, I could not be sure that the ET you mentioned would be enough....

Re: R888 vs Advans

Well, the R888 is pretty much a "track only" tire, where the ADVAN neova AD08 (i'm guessing is the one you are referring to) is a street tire that has some track capability. You can drive the R888...

Re: New wheels - will they fit?

With the 2" drop, you may get a little rubbing if you go wider than a 205 for reference.

Re: te37 15x8 +15

As always, Matt is right on the money...... If you cut and flare the fenders, you might have just an occasional rub. Otherwise, not a practical ET

Re: Tires suggestion???

We should have some test data on the new Dunlop Direzza DZ 102 later this year, but until then look at the test results from our head to head test of the Bridgestone and Yokohama tires here...

Re: BBS rs Help

I'd be concerned that ET25 would cause its own issues (regardless of the tire). Have you done a test fit with the wheel to see where the wheel ends up in relation to the fender ?

Re: Tire Size

Even at stock ride height we'd expect the need for a (rear) fender lip roll with 225

Re: 205/15/50 Summer Tires

KUmho would be best in dry, but absolutely useless in wet. The other two are very close (see our test results here) (http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tests/testDisplay.jsp?ttid=172&affiliate=FA3)

Re: UHP Tires vs. Track/Comp

While we've never tested Falken, it's important to remember that each tire manufacturer uses their own tests to determine UTQG so using that number for comparison is not much help. As a rule, we'd...
