thanks for the reply i went ahead and brought the car to a shop and they told me it was the upper strut mount that was bad but somehow i think there wrong.

the noise only happens when the car is moving i believe and does it over some bumps not all. i think its the lca and im going to change it. will let u know

i inspected the lca bushing and the one closer to the front bumper is cracked and worn. The sound kinda sounds like a metal to metal sound, and there is not much play at all when i jack up the car...

I changed the ball joint and its still doing the same noise. Could it be the lca bushings?

Yes all of the motor mounts have been changed and the trans is fine. I will be changing the ball joint today or tomorrow after work and I will keep everyone posted. Thanks again for all the help!

well when i was changing the axles the right side ball joint was very hard to get off to change the axles but the left side came right off. could that also be a sign of it being bad?

when i was changing the axles i messed up the balljoint bushing and had replaced the bushing with another one. The balljoint had alot of play in it and im not sure if it is suppose to?

i finally got a chance to look underneath the car and see what the problem is, both axle boots are torn and all the grease leaked out. i was told that bad axles wont mess up alignment, so im still...

the sound only comes when i turn the wheel not when i go over any bumps i am going to check the ball joints and compliance bushing when i get home today and will let everyone know thanks for the help.

so if its the ball joints how do i check that and if it is a bad ball joint shows i the signs i mentioned? also yes it has stock suspension and is not lowered

its auto trans and the ac is always used. its always driven in the city never on the highway. the engine runs right in the middle 0f the guage once it warms up

i just havent got around to changing the fuel filter, the check engine light works and is not on. i dont see any leaks but havent checked and not to sure how to check for leaks. the exhaust sounds...

months later i finally did a tune up chnaged the plugs wires cap rotor and fixed the oil in the plug problem and still have bad gas mileage. i need help dont know what else to do???????????

yea i went and bought new tubeing and changed it and does not colapse anymore but still gets terrible gas mileage, really dont know what else to do.

yes it still does im thinking that its just an old hose that needs replacing, what do u think it could be? also being that i changed the pcv valve u dont think that was my problem or is the hose...

Ok so I changed the pcv valve it was simple took me 2 minutes to do. Before I changed it I squeezed the hose and no click then I changed it and still no click. I took the old one off and shook it and...

so i just squeeze the hose that connects to the intake manifold and listen for a click from where? also thats the hose that is squezzing by itself like a straw sucking in.

i mean when the car is running the hose looks like what a straw would look like if u sucked in. and also sounds like a vacuum leak is coming from it
