Thanks, Poorman. Btw, I meant to get back to you (and several others) who attempted to help me a while back over the oil leak near the oil filter? You won't believe this but the situation resolved...

my mechanic does. i wouldn't know how to get at the thing w'out damaging the door. any good sources for manuals on this sorta thing?

see, i don't know what it's called. all 3 passenger windows quit working at the same time. i got in the car, turned the key, hit the auto-roll down on the driver's window, went to roll the others...

sometime last spring every window in my '97 honda accord 4-door stopped working except for the driver's window. mechanic said it'd cost me $84 just to take off the driver's side door panel to look at...

so far the only "disagreement" is the advice from my mechanic, that it would require welding to solve. i definitely prefer your solutions and those of the others at honda-tech. it...
