Status update:

Seems ignition timing was off. Got a mechanic to run the timing gun and it was off. Mechanic adjusted the distributor and it feels stronger and smoother in and out of lean burn. Now...

-Checked for vacuum leaks on all hoses on diagram. Sprayed them with carb cleaner to see if there was any change in rpm idle. Nothing to report on that.
-Havent checked the fuel pressure regulator....

Road them for about 100 miles. Then found some HX's. One time on, one time off.
