Ive machined a bunch of these before for some front subframe setups for subarus. couldnt find them anywhere else and got tired of welding them together. So I machine them from now on.

well i guess i did a good job since you didnt notice. first time ive actually finished welds on something. I love raw fab stuff, but i wanted a clean look and didnt want too many welds on it. ...

no there are reducers, chose to finish the welds that go from the transition to the 3" tube to minimze the amount of welds. Also thought it would look clean having that section look like one piece.

I went to 3" to get more headroom for the maf. If i welded on the flange to the 2.5" section I would max out the maf voltage. Going to 3" allows me to not max out the 5v or whatever it is for the...

this is how much body i cut off my car to fit the big rubber and the fender flares. Was very tedious welding and fitting the wheel well back together.
