Last night I was looking at my engine after owning my car for years and realized my head was stamped PDE. I'm 99% sure this is the factory engine and after some research I read that the PDE was put...

Re: 2001 Prelude. No key.

I would do what has been mentioned above if you are purchasing this vehicle to modify/play with. An obd1 ecu down the road will already be an almost necessity when you get into modifying the vehicle...

Re: Daytime running lights, gauge cluster lights, and running brake lights>>not worki

I would also look into a faulty ground connection, maybe look into the wiring schematics and see if some of those circuits have a common ground

Re: h23block h22 head ? need help

The stock bore is already 87mm. The block is made of frm material that takes special stones to bore out in a much slower fashion than standard cylinder honing. Verify with the machine shop that you...

Re: Quicker steering rack in a prelude ?

I like the idea, one thing to look out for is that usually those holes have a slight taper to them, and I'm not really sure how to drill that out correctly. Also another thing to keep in mind is that...

Re: First upgrades for my 98 prelude 1.5k to drop, NEED ADVICE

You're on the right track, with 99k miles on her I don't think I would open up the bottom end for the pistons just yet, but the rest of the list is a good start. It's also good practice to upgrad...

Re: Logic Motorsport Header on a Prelude

The front motor mount must be abandoned, you need upgraded mounts to withstand the force without the front mount being there to help

Re: Help converting IAVC 3 to 2 wire

Idle is set at 800, with the whistling and high idle I think it is a vac leak, you can try to play with idle at the screw in the TB, screw it in a bit and see if it will drop.

Re: H22a4 SH with a H22a1 usdm block swap. Mixed information is killing me.

In general you should be fine with the route you are going. What mixed information are you reading? I dont see where you should run into any problems.

Re: Timing Belt Troubles after 500 miles

How tight is your belt? I know its hard to describe over the internet but in my experience a whining belt is usually the result of a belt that has too much tension. Also, did you go with a Honda belt...

B18 crankshaft key way assembly

Hi, I recently picked up a 1996 Integra, fortunately I got it kinda cheap because the crank bolt came out and the pulley fell off. Unfortunately I am somewhat confused of how it goes back together....

Re: H22A1 block to H23 block (internals)

The blocks come from the same cast. Notice at the bottom of the block near the oil pan, you can see P13 on a H23, same as H22, only difference is oil squirters, and a plug for the vtec oil passage....
