Re: 8⁴ CRX buy or pass

I'd buy it and put a head gasket in it. Any parts you need, look up my buddy Danny Carlson at NW Classic Honda. He's got the hook ups. That looks to be a great price for a nice CRX. I'd scoop that up...

Re: B16a swap questions

I'm running a cable D-series VSS in my cable LS tranny, no issues. Unbolted the tab, and pryed it loose with a flathead, and pulled it out. My LS tranny didn't have one, so I decided I'd try my Si...

Re: My new (to me) CRX, Slow Build/Mod

For a 1-1.5" Drop, Id suggest staying on stock struts, or something like KYB agx's. You're not dropping enough to really worry about blowing struts. Im running Tein springs on stock struts, and im on...

Re: 91 crx si black smoke

I think he was just suggesting you google/search the forums for your answer before you post a new thread. Is your car mis-firing noticeably? I would change that injector to another cylinder and see...

Re: Going to put a k20 in my crx

So you already have a Donor car with motor and tranny? For a budget build (stock ECU, custom axles, etc.) I'd say you are looking at another $1500 to finish the swap...minumum. Unless you can source...

Re: Crxguy's 1990 CRX frame-up restoration thread. (56k warning)

Big props to you for the CRX restoration. I just did a bit of an exterior restoration on my CRX, and I barely scratched the top of the effort and time that has gone into your build. Keep it up!

Re: Best D engine for boost? Questions.

You're looking into spending a lot more money than you think to boost a Honda. My advice is to find a DOHC ZC and do your first swap with that. Then, after you have that under your belt, think about...

Heres a picture of my little brothers old Canadian Special Edition 1991 Civic Hatch. It was originally automatic, with color matched trim and mirrors and bumpers (as posted before). It was R-63 Rio...

Re: crz....to crx

I love the look of them. If I were to buy a new car for a daily driver, It would be a CRZ. I'd love to have one in the driveway parked beside my CRX

Re: ECU Suggestions? (SOHC ZC non-vtec)

Oh i see. I was under the impression that it was the cam having a longer duration/higher lift on the exhaust side that gave the zc the extra gain over the a6

ECU Suggestions? (SOHC ZC non-vtec)

When I bought my car, it came with two computers, and I'm looking for advice as to which computer to run. It is a stock TGP 1991 CRX Si (air box/stock exhaust) with a SOHC ZC non-VTEC swap (basically...

Has anyone here ever had an FITV leak coolant past the o-rings, and allow it to pass into the intake manifold? I believe that is what I am experiencing with my b16 right now. Im loosing coolant, and...

Re: b18b head on b20b block

Ahh. In that case, you will want the b20 head gasket, as the block has an 84mm bore, as opposed to the 81mm more of the b18

How is it that we never have time to do things right, but always find time to do them twice?
