If I had to do it again, I would want power steering. I raced a k20eg on Hoosiers for years and my complaint wasn't the heavy steering in the pits, it’s that when the the car is in a big rotation...

sure....it’s no diff than spraying a turbo intercooler.....it becomes a matter of legality with the sanctioning club running the event.

I already have the biggest set up avail for a 15 inch wheel with ITR caliper and the mini rotors.

I actually prefered the smaller rotor with wilwood calipers for the feel and weight but in sprint...

we used Gator Axels which use high temp grease and are vented. They did well. The times I did have failures it was running on banking and you could feel through the steering wheel the FWD car...

not to get off topic.....but regarding safety, you will never forgive yourself if you don’t do all you can do should something bad happen. NASA regularly tests us at impound for the “15 seconds”...

the bolt in “cage” is a glorified roll hoop that would never get passed tech for NASA or SCCA racing. Look at the mount plates of the rear hoop, no diaganol or cross bar.....they have a fuel cell...

I think that is a growing trend as Damper technology has improved, but I think most folk here are using a very entry level damper/coilovers so I would be curios to see if those same teams could...

i don’t know. That was SCCA at Sebring and it’s usually 50-70 Miatas running. I have been running just NASA for now because the 2 bodies require diff tires.

NASA has been Running 4 classes...

yes. And when you say seat time, Actually racing. Being fast in traffic and managing traffic with race craft is nothing like TT or DE. You have to use all kinds of “lines” and read situations...
