Head gasket Q?

So here is what is going on. the d16z6 is heating up when you get up around 60 mph or when pulling a decent hill. there was a little oil in the water not much you could tell over time. absolutely no...

The burrs are flat, i straight edged it and its obvious its been pained. i havent contacted the seller yet. prolly should do that.

So this is my new head i got off ebay. It is a d16z6 head. it has been rebuilt and looks fantastic other than this little nic. I dont think it will be a problem but i know little about aluminum heads...

Awesome guys i thanks for the info. Yeah my last one broke off so it jumped time. could not figure out what was going on for the longest time.

camshaft gear in a d16z6, the gear in the head opposite the dizy.

Yes the woodruff key. idk why i referred to it as a shim.

So that little shim job that holds the timing gear to the cam. I have looked on majestic and when i go to auto zone or shmucks and ask them they look like there gunna start bleeding from the ears. So...

So majestic is the place to use. my honda store is about the same prices but shipping handling is way more.

ok it is a d series engine so i should be good.

so i got a timing belt and tensioner where on earth do i find that spring on the tensioner? no one seems to sell it.

So my timing belt broke and my car died. well when it died i wasn't thinking and i cranked it over a few times did i bend my valves?
