Re: rainwater leak on heater box/blower - 1997 coupe

So the leak is above the re-circ flapper, it seems to be coming right out underneath the windshield, more specifically where the tube for the passenger side face level vent meets the man HVAC tube...

Re: '97 Si coupe fuel economy

No I haven't checked ignition timing. Assuming it's 10*BTDC? It's city driving and manual trans.

Re: '97 Si coupe fuel economy

Tire pressures are all 35psi, idle is 600RPM warm, and I drive it like a white man, no harder than my EF.

'97 Si coupe fuel economy

I just picked up a 1997 Si for a winter beater, it's a little rough around the edges but I'm more concerned about fuel economy. It's got some intake attached to the stock intake hose, and a header...

Re: rainwater leak on heater box/blower - 1997 coupe

I've dumped gallons of water on the windshield and couldn't get it to leak. Can't rule out the windshield though, just not sure how to verify it

Re: 1993 civic ex sedan passenger water leak HELP!!!

So that didn't fix my leak. Seems to be coming from the foam seal for the window vent. The one that's permanently aimed at the window. No idea how to access that though.

rainwater leak on heater box/blower - 1997 coupe

Hey guys, as the title states, I've got an external leak that drips on the passenger side floormat. The blower motor is wet as well as the HVAC box above it. Is this common, any tips to fix?

Re: Urgent - No start code 16

So I pulled out the litte relay behind the radio, and the car starts now. What do I gain/lose by simply leaving the relay unplugged?

Re: d15 oil leak odd location.

Odd, you verified they were leaking from the headgasket? Or just didn't bother you enough to get to the root of it?

Re: d15 oil leak odd location.

Bump, just wondering if anyone's seen an external headgasket leak before. The dizzy side is completely dry. Another thing I thought I'd toss in there is one of the hoses at the intake manifold...

Re: d15 oil leak odd location.

Yeah. I'll tinker with it a bit this weekend maybe. But would I be far off in including the headgasket in the possible culprits? Anyone seen one leak externally like that on one of these before?

Re: d15 oil leak odd location.

Where do you see silicone? If you're talking about the black between the head and the block, thats the headgasket.

Re: d15 oil leak odd location.

Maybe? Has OEM gasket as I'm not aware of any maintenance of this car. It runs awesome and doesn't leak or burn anything other than this one spot. Would a cam seal leak end up there?

Encircled is the area of the leak, I'm 99% sure it's oil. I pressure wash it away and it slowly comes back after driving. Any chance...

Rad fan inoperative, fan works.

So today my car started overheating in traffic. When I got home I let it idle and sure enough the temps rose and the fan did not come on. I jumpered the fan and it works, so Im wondering if these...
