These are for a sedan, 120k miles on the shocks, 50k at most on the springs.

Basically 90* right out of the firewall - 90* towards the front of the car (behind the bumper) - over the fender liner and down/around the front bumper into it's normal route.

purple power was the de-greaser i used, no i did not prime. Didn't think it needed primer since the paint was high heat - figured an extra coat would do the job.


Maybe I'll try acetone or some...

I've tried that heat cycle method with no luck... the paint lasted maybe a month...

I've used that on my header - but ended up flaking off both times.


Did you do any special prep?

How many coats did you do/ time between coats?

Yeah, he used to own a Prelude and still comes around to the meets - we just have to call to remind him haha

Sorry, I don't know any information on the actual swap let alone how the clearance is. Just know some basics on the H series.

Just google "h22 swapped ek" and you'll find all the images you need.


The only visual differences between an everyday H22 and the Euro-R is the intake manifold, which sits a few inches lower...

Most of Big Mike's Carbon parts (front lip, mirrors and idk what else) were done by Frank of HomeGrownFabrications. I'll ask him what else he did for Mike - don't remember if the cowl was him or...

Those numbers from that motor from the factory sound about right.

OP - you can typically do low boost safely as long as you have a healthy motor. 6psi would be fine if that's what you're looking...
