Wouldn't it be easier, than taking the dash off, to check for codes on OBDII? Isn't it true that anything that would make the dash indicator light up would be reported as a code?

No, I posted the current clearances, none are too loose, which is what would make noise right? Slightly too tight during age is normal and doesn't make noise, but will eventually burn a valve, right?...
