I had this same problem with my 92 accord, trans. was not locking on the highway, or would lockup intermittently. The fix was the thermostat, apparently it was stuck open and running the engine too...

Your guess is probably right. I own a 1994 accord EX VTEC Manual which is leaking from that solenoid and I do hear it is a common problem with this engine. I would start there first.

Had the same problem in my 1992 honda accord lx, no dash lights or tail lights but I did have brake lights. The fix for me was the combination light switch, turn signal on the column.
