Re: p0715 on a 1995 Honda Accord V6 2.7L

So, did not drive the car cold. i'm not sure if we would get the P0715 code back before we get the P0730 if the car was driven cold. for now, i am assuming the P0715 is gone and we just have to fix...

Hello;
I have been scouring this site for info on this P0715 CEL code for the 1995 V6 Accord, but have only found information on the 4CYL. One of the links that is dead in the older posts had...

Whiney Car and Transmission Fluid Evaporating (leaking somewhere)

I've been away for awhile since my 1995 Honda Accord V6 has been holding up well until just recently. Now i have a couple of idiosyncrasies that are starting to bug me: 1) something periodically...

Re: (May be wrong terminology) obd2 smog items not ready

Re: (May be wrong terminology) obd2 smog items not ready

With respect to not being OBD2 certified, yes, this is true, per se. However, since it does have the port, the monitors that i have, apparently, need to be checked. This being said, here's where we...

Re: HOW TO: set readiness monitors for OBD 2

Slvrblitaccord;
did your monitors ever set? If so, how many miles did it take. Just curious. Having issues with the 95 accord v6...similar mileage.

Still trying to keep my car, so looking for...

Re: (May be wrong terminology) obd2 smog items not ready

Since the car is old (and the smog place we go to is helpful when the guy is in a good mood), we don’t want to put a lot of money into trying to troubleshoot.

So, we are trying to figure out the...

Re: (May be wrong terminology) obd2 smog items not ready

Thanks Mad_Mike!

I've "googled" the drive cycle for the accord. The one i found, someone posted here in another thread. The first 3 steps are accomplishable: 1) idling for 2.5 min; 2) idling in...

(May be wrong terminology) obd2 smog items not ready

My car (1995 Honda Accord v6) is not setting the o2 sensors, the EVAP, nor the cat. I understand that I need the o2 sensors to first. But, I can’t figure out why they persist in being “not ready”. I...

Re: Replacing discontinued parts (95 v6 accord)

You were correct. The order was cancelled. They didn't have the courtesy to let me know. I checked the status of the order and saw it was cancelled so I called them. ONLY THEN did they say say the...

Re: HELP WITH PART

Funny that. We did the same thing as I didn't want to pay full price at autozone. And yes, mine is working as well (cross my fingers). For anyone's reference, we are using the -1160.

Re: HELP WITH PART

Did you ever find your part? Autozone now carries a part that supposedly fits, but it is more expensive than some of the online dealer prices. I've been looking for the part as well.

Re: Anyone have any luck finding an internal distributor seal

One last post (for me) on this topic: rocket seals rocks! We called them and gave them the measurements we'd taken. We were really lucky they had something in stock we could use. It wasn't exact,...

Re: Anyone have any luck finding an internal distributor seal

Thanks to all for the info thus far. Especially Redbull who mentioned the V6 specificity. We (rather, my mechanic) removed the distributor seal today and the measurements are slightly off of what is...

Re: How-To: Replace Internal Seal of Distributor (Internal Oil Leak)

Hopefully, this thread is still "live" because in as much as there is great information here, I'm not seeing any info on the V6 distributor. I've searched high and low for the parts listed in this...
