yup, that's the way i was leanin. went ahead an got the oem. another thing just occurred to me. coolant got blown all over the engine compartment including my open element air filter. will coolant...

yeah, i was just lookin at some of those on ebay since they are only $20-$30 more. thanks for the info on the drain plug.

so my next question is where can i find a replacement bolt? i found in the service manual where its an m10 x 1.25 flange bolt but it's not threaded all the way to the head. part number anybody?

this is going to sound crazy and probably not your issue but when my bottom bolt fell out of my alternator it made a strange noise on acceleration.

might not be able to explain this correctly but when i changed my plug wires the insulation actually "rolled" is the best way i can describe it. basically the plug-side elongated and it interfered...
