Re: My first crack at competitive roll racing: "Roll Out to Reach Out", Pocono Racew

Your car is impressive for a stock motor. Blows my mind it still has stock head bolts. I just made some 4 port solenoid mounting brackets if you do wanna go that route.

Re: coolant line ? for 500hp lsv

The iac doesn't need coolant to operate. I'm interested in hearing about people that remove the bypass hose. What size and how many holes are you drilling in the thermostat?

Re: Should I need to open my Front bumper?

The first half of the core has the most effect on cooling the charge air. I would leave it the way it is.

Re: weird boost spike issue

I'm assuming you have a 7 psi spring in the gate and the tuner turned off the solenoid control and it's now running straight off the gate?

Re: weird boost spike issue

Double check your vacuum lines first. Then check your setting in your software normally open/ normally closed and make sure it's set up correctly. The cold weather could allow more boost pressure...

Re: Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor

I don't know what kind of engine or car but if it's the temp sensor that the ecu reads then yes it can cause an issue. High idle probably not but hard to start and rough idle I would say yes. The ecu...

It will be fine at that low hp level as long as it has a tune.

Re: Project almost complete but gota problem..

Hard to start, hard to restart, o2 sensor code, and engine dies. Sounds to me like fueling is way off.

Re: ABS delete on 96 integra GS

You got it. You need the rs master, booster, prop. valve, and the hard lines from master to prop. valve.

Re: Need Help with 90 civic turbo

You can delete the ones for the idle air control valve. It cleans up the bay. Also, I wouldn't be revving that single cam to 8,000rpm.

Re: Turbo-LS's Build/Rebuild Pics/Discussion

I was there and watched you 10.2 run. Great job the car looks good. It looked like traction was an issue for a lot of the higher hp cars I'm assuming because the track was cold.

Re: got bored and made my own intake(again)!!!

I think that is for the track only. The headlight scoop was too much trouble to install at the track. This one should be easier to install and remove at the track. That's the way I understood it.

Re: No map sensor port on edelbrock victor x???

Your going to have to run something like a firewall mount map sensor with a vacuum line connected to the manifold. You could also run an aem map sensor and that will thread into the back of the...

Re: Engine Failure HORROR STORY. Everythings Junk.

Who said a trained professional at gsc took the measurements? Optical comparator is still not the best way to measure an angle. It only gets you in the ballpark. If your talking about the diameter of...

Re: Engine Failure HORROR STORY. Everythings Junk.

Exactly what I was going to say. You have compared the top dimension of the keeper and it's the same. Give us a comparison of the height of the keepers and also the bottom dimension of the angle....

Re: Turbo-LS's Build/Rebuild Pics/Discussion
