Thanks for the reply.
Even if the crush bends lose diemeter still a 3'' piping will be adequate for most builds.
The problem whith the 3'' exhaust is the noise level and only that , i'm at the same...

Got a 3'' exhaust on my b18c and tune it on the dyno, car made good power 202whp on a dynapac
but exhaust is very loud cousing problems with the police.(police ears are sensitive in my area)

Air from the intake tube without a source of vaccum wont be sucked in to the crankcase or valve cover on it's own.
The intake tube on any n/a engine has less pressure that drops even more as rpm...

i'll chime in and say it will do nothing bad if you just use only one but both will help vent the system quicker.just a peace of mind.
if it's a mild set up it will be ok using only one vent.

As i can understand an all motor engine needs different breather set up than turbo one.
On a turbo engine there is big crancase pressure that can be vented easy to atmosphere from the extra...

advance timming question.

my set up is a I/H/E b18c5 engine with a chipped p28 ecu tuned by a local tuner.
i wanted to check the advance timming so i grabbed my timming light pistol and i saw that the marks on the pulley can...

exhaust one way valves would be the best for any race car
but for a daily driven i dont think so cat will be destroyed also the risk of fire ?

In my b18c bolt ons i just copied a friends turbo b20 set up,here it goes:

I use 2 fittings from a b20 prelude to the back of the block and a freeze plug to the place that was the oem black box...

i like the sound of my 3'' exhaust
i dont like the smell when have to stop with windows down & the mot,cops problems that can occur.

what about 100cell over 200cell ?
100 cell wont be less...

but in a daily driven na honda that uses a 3'' full exhaust how much backpressure= loss of power a catalyzer takes ?

you WILL need chipped ecu and a tune anyway.

I'm using rdx injector that are shorter than oem b18's plus the outlaw kit and after reading this post :scared:
also consider that fuel cool down valve stem..
removing the im gasket after tuned it...

at first i thought if someone will dyno test a 3'' vs a 2.5'' on different all motor set ups from b16 to b20 there will be an end to this exhaust piping size debate

big resonators keep it quiet
the only downside is the extra weight compared to a straight through 2.5''

it was an oem oil pump had it since engine build 2 years 2 race seasons and a bunch of dyno pulls.
i use a balance shaft delete kit and ati race damper no p/s no a/c with cm clutch and flywheel....

my oil pump gears have broken into pieces
leaving me with zero oil pressure and...

exhaust cone for street exhaust set up?

i use a toda 4-2-1 header that ends to 2.5'' collector and a full 3'' exhaust with 2 resonators.
since i'm using no transition on my exhaust i'm thinking to add an exhaust cone from 2.5'' to 3'' or...

since these injectors are oem that dosen't mean that they can't have a failure or been damaged through shipping or been just my bad luck etc.
sorry that i can't give you a proof that they leak
