Just like the title says, when the ignition is on, the fans are on. This is my boss's gf's car. He took it to a local mechanic, and pretty much I know that the PCM was replaced, any ideas?

grounds make a positive difference, whether or not you have upgraded the big 3. The larger the wire, the less resistance to ground, so 0 awg wont hurt anything. I dont understand your question...

If you disconnect the sub, and turn the volume up, and the light still comes on, you need a new amp, or you need to fix your current amp. If your light doesn't come on, you need a new sub.

Well, if its an impedence problem, OP, we need you to post the model of the amp (as fcm stated), along with the model of the sub. If the subs you've tried are dual voice coil, how did you wire them?

Check the ground on the amp... It should be as short as possible and securely mounted to metal in the car with the paint cleaned off.
