How do I get these torx screws loose? I've not been able to do anything but strip them on 5-10 donor cars that have the steering wheel I want. Havent tried my car but it would be the same result.

My car is a DX manual which does not have the cruise arm and spring on the top of the gas pedal for a cruise cable to attach since not built for cruise control. Do I need to grab an entire pedal...

Re: 2000 Civic Cruise Control - One cable

That's a problem. That means your switch is going to cause your cruise to cancel and be flaky. It cancels cruise when pressed. Beep should continue forever when pedal is released. And silent forever...

Re: Where to find a duel throttle pullies, one for cruise one for gas cable?

No. I believe that bypassing the pedal assembly is as good or better way than Honda did attaching to gas pedal arm because is more simple straight to throttle and less cable. And i dont want to swap...

Re: Where to find a duel throttle pullies, one for cruise one for gas cable?

No there is only a gas pulley on any type of 96-00 Civic that has cruise or not. LX's have the cruise control feature yes, but only have a gas throttle pulley like any other type without cruise. The...

Re: Noise then smoke after second timing belt change - AC compressor issue?

How does my clutch plate look? I see wear along the contact area, but does it still look good enough to reuse? Couldnt find a new one for sale anywhere online without buying a kit.
