had almost the same problem. mine was more consistent and predictable though. no cel ran rough no codes. it was the foward o2 sensor. might want to look into that. just a thought

I've read the same thing as far as the internals. And the change in the tranny code would lead me to believe that also. But as far as the cooler goes I font want to do anything huge just a small one...

sounds like you snapped your timing belt. same thing happened to my little brother not too long ago in his 90 si. how many miles were on your motor? pull your valve cover off and take a look

has a similar problem with my prelude. when i would stop or hit the clutch the car would stall. it got worse when it was warm. the problem was my o2 sensor.
