wrecked the car on tuesday .. sold it for 500 yesterday , it only needed a radiator , front bumper, fenders and trans , which i had lol
oh well time to move on !!

well i did a pressure test of the cooling system, everything checked out good , so with a small last ditch attempt, i deleted my heater core . holds strong now . also added another fan .

went to the track tonight for the first time to see what she could lay down amd i was impressed ..
she ran a best out of three passes of a 16.48 .

this was in my 88 ef hatch with a stock b18a1 ,...

followed the steps i knew how , fill it up , start the car .. wait for thermostat to open , then fill more and wait for all bubbles to dissappear.
is this the correcct way ?

my fan is wired to come one when the key is on the run position. and yes it working .

headgasket doesnt seem to be leaking , no water in the oil .
im going to swap out the rad hoping tht fixes it .

there isnt any obvious leaks that i can see, then again it could be pushing out a...

like the title says , my little hatch keeps overheatingg .
it has brand new water pump, thermostat and cap all installed yesterday .
but the stupid thing keeps overheating .. the timing is all...

im sure if you drilled both ends of the crack , so it wont crack anymore then weld it up, and somehow machine it flat it would probally be okay .. but finding a shop to do all this would prolly cost...

it was originally going on a sohc ZC but the customer decided against it ..
so im going to be cutting the intake flange off and welding a b series...

mine cosists of a eaton m90. working on finishing up the design on the bogey shaft .
im working on getting pictures up and loaded for everyone to see.

previous owner put them in , and i will say the instal is questionable at best . i plan on doing it the right way ! lol its hard for someone to do something properly in this damn town ..

i do plan on upgrading it big time ! havent even thought about it tho ..
and i had to make a custom front cross memeber so it would catch on that rather than beat up my header and create another...

does anyone have a setup that is not a jr setup?
i am currently finishing up the fab on my own personal setup .
would like to collaborate with someone that has done something like this before ....
