Not sure how old the plugs/wires/cap/rotor is, the only CEL code it's ever spit out is P0420. Which is probably my bad cat, or an o2 sensor, or both... I'm really hoping that I can get away with some...

Just finally figured out why my car wouldn't start, and now that I got it starting again, it's idling really low/choppy. Could this be a clogged PCV valve? Or maybe a failing IACV?...

Problem solved!!!

The ground wire on the harness (near the drivers side shock) was melted and separated. Twisted those ends together and tada, car fired up. Finally!!

I'm going to where the car is tomorrow, I'll certainly check the harnesses. It just seems weird that a bad ground on something totally unrelated (thermostat) could cause such a problem.

Yes the starter cranks. My CEL light is always on due to a bad o2 sensor/possible bad cat converter.
