Re: Lowered

I used a breaker bar with a 4 foot pipe on mine and snapped the head off the bolt. LOL. Any suggestions?

Re: Buying Flexplate - New or Used?

I had a 95 Legend Coupe with a 3.5L swap from a 2002 RL. When I purchased the engine I wasn't aware that the donor car was involved in a front end collision which damaged the crankshaft. To make a...

Re: I put diesel oil in my h22

On every car forum that I belong to (H-T, CB7tuner, and My350Z) the biggest debate is what oil is the best. I used to use RP but I stopped because it burns in both of my cars. I use Mobil 1 now and...

Re: Legend motor swap recommendations?

His only options are the C32 Type II or the C35 from the RL. He's better off doing the C35 because the C32 has head gasket issues.

Re: Used the wrong stuff

I think you have the axles in wrong. Make sure that they are lined up correctly. Cheap ATF will not cause grinding right off the bat. Your problem lies in the axles.

Re: F my LIFE

If you used actual super glue and not Elmer's glue then you'll be fine. I used crazy glue on mine and its been that way for almost 2 years.

Re: Possible to brighten dash lights?

LEDs in the dash is an upgrade, if done correctly. I did mine by wiring LEDs into the harness, not just swapping bulbs.

Re: Frankenstien Engines ?!?

That's almost my build exactly. I'm using Wiseco K20 pistons and a H22 plenum double stacked on a6 runners. I have a cam and Bisi valvetrain too.

Re: The REAL bisimoto header test, done by Mikeyspec of Profunction

Bottom line - You get what you pay for. Just don't buy Milwaukee's Best and expect it to taste like Heineken.

Re: Swap: F23A4 to F23A1 Any ECU for Performance

The F23a4 did come in 98-02 Accords. They have a different exhaust and O2 sensor than the F23a1 for better fuel economy.

OP, a OBDII ecu cannot be chipped so you will either have to do a piggy...

Re: Need JDM F22A6

What's the difference between the JDM F22a6 and the USDM one? They come a dime a dozen and $800 is way too much.

Re: aem v2 for cb7

Just buy a cheap ebay intake then get a K&N or AEM filter for it. The tubing is all the same, the filter is what makes the difference.

Re: remove head with or without intake manifold.

Its alot easier and less work if you leave it on. I leave the header on too. Just unbolt it from the downpipe. It takes me about 2 hours to do a head swap.

Re: f23 swap trouble

Check your firing order. I posted a diagram in your other thread. I had the exact same problem when i had the F23 in my accord. I was 1000% sure my firing order was correct, but it wasn't.

The...

Re: f23a swap spark issue

I had the same problem when I had the F23a1 in my 90 Accord. Its your firing order! Its still 1-3-4-2, but #1 is in a different position than it is on the F22a and F22b2. See diagram below (for...

Re: 1990 Accord, A/C Retrofit time *With pics*

That's bull. I converted my AC with standard tools and a kit I bought from Wal-Mart. It worked perfectly until I deleted it after my build.

OP, the low side is the one close to the battery. Make...

Re: Is an F23a4 obd 1 or 2?

Yeah they are cheap. I bought two for $200. I built one for performance (in my car now) and I'm giving the other one a stock rebuild and gonna use it as a backup motor.

Re: Tell me if I'm on the right track here, please? F series noob

Not true. I have an F23a1 block with an F22a6 head in my 1990 Accord. No issues at all and I'm using high dome K20 pistons. I'm sure the OP will be using stock pistons or aftermarket dished (if he...

Re: F23 rods

Can he use K20 rods? The only difference I can see is that they are 2 mm shorter that F23 rods, which could be good if he's using high compression, domed pistons.
