definetly 100 percent drivers side cv joint . bet it is only when you are practicly on full lock and the veh is leaning over with all the weight transferrd onto the drivers side . about £30 and a bit...

try disconnecting exhaust sections . silencer may be choked up ,the cat may be choked up or collapsed causing way too much back preasure . cheap and easy to eliminate from the problem

o2 sensors tend not to be the problem . p0171 and p0172 indicates fuel mixture problem either too lean or rich . engine management is taking its readings from lots of sensors all that the o2 sensors...

o2 sensors tend not to be the problem . if you are confident the cat is in good condition ,then the problem is more likely to be a fuel mixture fault . p0171 is very common to come along with p0420...
